The National Registry of Databases RNBD, is the platform that collects all the personal data bases that manage the companies (law 1581 of 2012 and regulated by the Only Decree 1074 of 2015.)
The effects of registering the databases, can be seen from two (2) Optics: i) for the businessman responsible for the treatment of personal databases, his registration before the RNBD allows him to comply with the legal obligation and avoid fines equivalent to two thousand (2,000) Legal monthly minimum wages in force; and II) by the owners of the data, natural persons, can consult on a single platform their data that are in any of the registered database and know the channels to request their modification, deletion or non-authorization of their data Personal.
It Is Important to note that they are not obliged to register the databases before the SIC micro and small enterprises, natural persons, as well as non-profit organizations that do not exceed the limit of law.
